Mechanical Ostrich - Two Leg Walking Type
The 2-leg walking-type Mechanical Ostrich is fun to build and run while also demonstrating clever mechanical systems. Motor rotating power is transferred to the legs via crank plates to make the ostrich walk. Legs and body on which the gearbox is mounted employ transparent-colored parts, giving the ostrich a funky look. Reverse switch is also transparent, giving you a peek at the ostrich's internal mechanisms. Assembly is very simple with use of screws and snap-lock parts.
